Manufacturing Engineer - Assembly

 

Position Description:
As part of the development of our activities, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our industrialization projects and continuous improvement initiatives. You will join a dynamic team and receive training on the tools and methods we use.

Your responsibilities will evolve progressively and will include:
• Leading the validation phase of new assembly lines.
• Creating and updating technical and operational documentation related to new projects.
• Conducting and maintaining PFMEA analyses for various projects.
• Proposing packaging solutions for new products in collaboration with the team.
• Managing and modifying the programming of screwdrivers (Bosch Rexroth, Kolver) and vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) on production lines.
• Defining and monitoring process control parameters (SPC, control charts, etc.).
• Actively contributing to the organization and optimization of production activities.
• Identifying and suggesting improvements to operator work methods.
• Contributing to the analysis and implementation of technical changes.
• Coordinating the update of BOMs and ROUTINEs in SAP.
• Participating in the annual review of cycle times.
• Supervising and training a team of shift technicians.

Required Skills:
• Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools.
• Ability to lead equipment or process improvement initiatives.
• Comfortable using Excel, VBA, or other data analysis tools.
• Strong collaboration skills with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Good communication skills in both French and English.
