System obtains certification

 

The MTA Slovakia plant obtained the OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) certification.
This standard lays down the requirements for Workers' Health and Safety Management Systems. 
This certification is important because it will enable us to document compliance with these requirements for car makers.  MTA SLOVAKIA  is one of the first companies which is applying certified system of standard OHSAS 18001:2007 in this area.

 
 

This system ensures that applicant companies have defined and implemented specific in-house procedures and responsibilities for the protection of the health and safety of employees, as well as of guests or suppliers visiting the plant.
The management system also provides a measure of the level of compliance achieved by the organization and enables it to constantly monitor its adequacy by means of internal audits and regular updates to new regulations.
The system has a proactive approach, as it requires that all staff and workers be involved in the decision-making process by providing indications and suggestions.
All leading car makers recommend this certification and some are already requiring it as a precondition for establishing or maintaining a business relationship.
