MTA site in Isola Vicentina produces various types of antennas (5G cellular, Wi-Fi, WB, AM/FM, DAB, SDARS, GNSS, V2X, etc.) both for original equipment and the aftermarket for the automotive, motorbike, truck and off-highway industries. The research and development department has high expertise and experience on communication technologies and supports the customer from design concept through to production.
We are looking for a Radio Frequency Electronic Designer.
Key Responsibilities:
He/She will:
• design electronic solutions for Radio Frequency communication systems. The required Radio Frequency skills include filter design, impedance matching network design, small-signal (S-parameter), low noise amplifier for automotive OEM applications, most often directly interfaced to antenna electromagnetic elements, from schematic to layout finalization, including related power supply section;
• use specific CAD tools for simulation and electronic design (Keysight Genesys, Altium Designer);
• fully characterize, debug, and tune the designed PCBA also with the use of Network and Spectrum Analyzers, RF Signal Generators and Noise Figure Meters;
• realize the necessary documentation for PCBA production, interface with test engineering colleagues for End of Line Testing;
• participate in Project Reviews following automotive quality standards.
Organizational interfaces:
He/She will:
• join the Electronic Design Team, within the R&D department, reporting to Electronic Design Manager.
• daily interface with colleagues from other R&D teams and further company stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Purchasing, Sales)
Main requirements:
• Degree in Electronic Engineering
• Interest in RF electronic, antennas
• Knowledge of analog electronics
• Basic knowledge of main Lab instrumentation as Oscilloscope, Multimeter and RF Network Analyzer and/or Spectrum analyzer
• Knowledge of Electronic CAD or RF simulation
• IATF Automotive standard knowledge (preferred)
