Battery Terminal in Z axis

MTA has being delivering the OEM Market a wide range of electromechanical products that represent the state of the art of technology since years. Among these products, you can find a broad range of battery terminals - ranging from blanked to die-cast terminals, and from conventional to quick release types - capable of meeting the diverse needs of car makers.

Starting now, the MTA range will include a Battery Terminal in Z, that permits car makers to quickly tighten the fastening nut on the assembly line. Ease of access from the top with a screwdriver is ensured to facilitate work for the operator and reduce process time.
The MTA Engineering opted for a blanked terminal using a combination of metal and plastic materials. The terminal in Z axis consists of a metal part - a single ring - and a plastic part. When the nut is tightened, the plastic part is pushed against the metal ring so as to provide optimal mechanical and electrical characteristics. As a result, the product offers excellent performance both in terms of withdrawal force and pole rotation, as well as significant weight saving compared to die-cast terminals, a feature withi is well appreciated by the automotive industry.
