Company Overview

Founded in 1954 in Codogno (Italy) thanks to the vision of Antonio Giulio Falchetti and now led by the third generation, which still retains full ownership, MTA is a global reference in the design and production of electrical and electronic components for the automotive industry.

Thanks to its 70 years of experience, MTA combines technological expertise, vertically integrated production and a strong customer focused approach, supporting OEMs throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Mission

Through a fully integrated process — from design to large scale production — we develop and manufacture electrical and electronic components for the automotive sector. Our mission is to be a reliable and flexible partner for our customers, offering technical expertise, collaboration and long term commitment. MTA works closely with the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers, building strong partnerships based on trust, proximity and a deep understanding of customer needs. By sharing our know-how with them, we support them in developing innovative solutions and responding effectively to evolving production requirements. History

The history of MTA is one of typical Italian entrepreneurship: the story of a company that started from nothing but the intuition and technical skills of its founder, and that over time has become one of the excellences of our Country thanks to the foresight, determination and perseverance of those who helped it grow.

Established in 1954 in Codogno by Antonio Giulio Falchetti.

The Group

MTA operates through 8 sites worldwide integrating research and development, laboratories, plastic molding, metal stamping and assembly operations. All plants operate according to the same high quality standards, ensuring consistency and reliability across the Group.
To confirm that Research & Development is part of our DNA, MTA has recently opened two offices in Turin and Sesto San Giovanni, where a team of specialized engineers develops electrical and electronic components with a strong focus on power electronics.
To support customers locally, MTA also has 5 technical and commercial offices in Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the United States and China.
