Spot Plus dashboard with TFT display

The Spot Plus dashboard features a 3.5-inch color TFT module and a 100 mm inner
diameter, which complies with construction industry standards, making it ideal
for small to medium-sized vehicle applications.
The TFT
version of the Spot display is designed with the same pin outputs as the LCD
version, ensuring a seamless upgrade path for existing customers. The
front-facing TFT is optically bonded to transparent glass, providing enhanced
visibility and durability.
Main features
- 2 rubber buttons with software-programmable functions.
- 5 LED indicator lights with customizable screen printing for colors and symbols.
- Power supply compatibility with both 12V and 24V, an upgrade from the current Spot version which supports only 12V.
- Backup battery that powers the Real Time Clock (RTC) for up to 10 days at ambient temperature, maintaining date and time even when the main power is disconnected.
The customizable indicators allow manufacturers to support multiple configurations using a single hardware architecture, requiring only changes to the screen printing.
Durability and protection
The materials and design solutions used in the Spot display ensure:
- IP69K protection rating for the front.
- IP65 protection rating for the rear.
- High resistance to vibration and extreme temperatures.
The Spot Plus dashboard is programmable using MTA Studio, a dedicated tool designed for configuring dashboards, displays, and electronic control units. This allows OEMs to reuse existing applications on the MTA hardware without having to recode from scratch, ensuring continuous development in line with the evolving technology.
