MTA Slovakia
MTA Slovakia, located in Bánovce nad Bebravou in the Trenčín region, is today the Group’s largest site outside Italy and the second largest overall after the Codogno Headquarters.
Over time, its evolution has led to the creation of three distinct buildings, arranged within a wide green area that borders the facilities and helps create an orderly, light filled working environment seamlessly integrated into the local rural landscape, characterized by gentle hills, fields and wooded areas typical of the territory.
The same care that guides landscape integration also informs our energy choices: the photovoltaic system installed on site covers 25% of in house needs, reducing our carbon footprint and aligning with our sustainability vision.
The site’s growth has also been supported by the availability of skilled labor and by Slovakia’s established engineering tradition.
Building on these foundations, and confirming its central role in the Group’s industrial development, MTA inaugurated in Slovakia, more than ten years ago, its first overseas plastic injection molding department.
To ensure safe operations on sensitive electronic components, an EPA (Electronic Protected Area) has been set up, while the in house laboratory, equipped with state of the art instrumentation, makes it possible to perform all key product tests internally, shortening qualification times and streamlining the overall development and validation flow.
The site also offers several spaces and services dedicated to people’s well being and to operational support: an in house canteen with kitchen, a conference room, an infirmary, and a training area for continuous learning, contributing to a complete, comfortable working environment aligned with MTA’s values.
As in all Group locations, at Bánovce nad Bebravou the combination of industrial functionality, attention to people, and the care of outdoor spaces defines a consistently high quality working context.
