MTA Rolo - Italy

The MTA site in Rolo is a center of excellence for the development and production of advanced electronic instrumentation for the automotive sector and employs around 250 people.

Set within a well maintained green environment, in continuity with the architectural identity shared by all MTA locations, it enhances the workplace through gardens and landscaped outdoor areas that reflect the company’s attention to employee well being and harmonious integration with the surrounding territory. In line with the Group’s sustainable vision, the site is almost completely energy independent thanks to a large photovoltaic system that powers daily operations, helping reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.

The Research & Development department, composed of around 40 engineers, is structured into divisions dedicated to the design of instrument clusters, displays, control systems and product quality management. Development activities rely on state of the art tools for hardware, software, optical and mechanical modeling and simulation, ensuring full compliance with Automotive SPICE standards and delivering high levels of product reliability. The plant operates with latest generation assembly lines, internally developed testing equipment and an advanced traceability system. The entire production area is classified as an EPA (Electronic Protected Area) and equipped with devices that prevent electrostatic charge accumulation, ensuring maximum protection of sensitive electronic components.

The site also offers services designed to support people well being, including an on site company canteen that prepares fresh meals daily, ensuring quality and variety.
