MTA Headquarters - Codogno

Founded in 1954, MTA’s Headquarters is located in Codogno, about 60 km south of Milan, within a modern industrial complex that extends across 160,000 m² of company owned land.

The site stands in a carefully maintained green setting, where extensive outdoor areas and landscaped spaces enhance the working environment and reflect the company’s focus to people well being and harmony with the surrounding territory. This attention translates into a real environmental commitment confirming MTA's determination to build a sustainable future and promote responsible innovation along the entire supply chain. Through various operational actions, such as photovoltaic systems installed in the roof, the solar field on the ground, the heat recovery of compressors and significant structural improvements, we have in fact achieved a substantial reduction in greenhouse gas and refrigerant gas emissions, a reduction in the methane gas consumption of the energy drawn from the grid and an increase in energy self-sufficiency.

More than 600 people work in Codogno, and the site represents the strategic heart of the company, where Research & Development, Production and Product Validation coexist in a highly specialized environment. The Headquarters hosts the Directorate of the Electrical Business Unit is located, which develops control units for power distribution and protection of the electrical system, intended for low, medium and high voltage applications; terminals; connectors and fuses; and the Directorate of the Electronic Business Unit, specialized in the development of in-vehicle human-machine interface systems (instrument panels, touch panels, multi-display systems) and electronic control units; on-board battery chargers and DC/DC converters. The R&D Center of the two Business Units employs around 130 engineers who transform customer concepts into integrated design solutions thanks to advanced processes and multidisciplinary expertise. Testing and qualification activities are carried out internally, ensuring fast turnaround times and the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The location also offers services designed for people's well-being, such as a company nursery dedicated to employees' children and an in-house canteen that prepares fresh meals on site daily, contributing to a welcoming, functional work environment that is attentive to the needs of the company community
