Validation Engineer

MTA is looking for a Software Validation Engineer to join the R&D team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and requirements review;
- Test protocol definition and execution for checking the system functionalities;
- Trace and analyze the test results;
- Bug-tracking (i.e. JIRA or RedMine);
- Requirement management and traceability (i.e. DOORS);

Requirements:
- Master/Engineer degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering or related field;
- 3+ years of experience in software verification and validation in real-time/embedded contexts;
- Fluent in English;
- Experience in automotive, aerospace or rail industry;
- Knowledge of black-box and white-box testing methodologies;
- CAN/LIN bus knowledge;
- Preferred knowledge of CAN tools such as Vector suite (i.e. CANalyzer or CANoe);
- Knowledge of ASPICE/CMMI processes;
- Knowledge of MATLAB, Stateflow and Simulink modelling systems;
- Nice to have knowledge of the Safety (Functional Safety) standard;
- Nice to have knowledge of the Cyber Security standard;
