Safety Officer Technician

 

This resource will be responsible for managing activities related to work safety, aiming at ensuring conditions that eliminate or minimize the risk of occupational accidents, observing compliance with all pertinent legislation. 

The resource must be able to:
- Promote workplace inspections, identify hazardous conditions, take all necessary steps to eliminate hazards, and train and educate employees about occupational safety attitudes;
- Prepare training programs on safety at work, including awareness raising and safety standards dissemination programs, with a view to developing a preventive attitude towards safety at work;
- Determine and inspect the employee's use of personal protective equipment (PPE);
- Search, analyse and correct unhealthy conditions;
- Collaborate with CIPA and SIPAT programs;
- Evaluate the cases of work accidents, accompanying the injured to receive adequate medical care;
- Support in all environmental management activities;
- Promote activities aimed at compliance with the applicable laws on the environment, health and safety at each company department.

- Practical knowledge in Environmental management;
- Persuasive ability;
- Training as a Work Safety Technician;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience;
- Audit experience;
- English will be a plus;
- Good knowledge of Excel.
