Plastic injection department
The department dedicated to plastic materials injection is made up of 55 hydraulic presses from 50 to 380 tons and 2 160-ton electric presses. All of the machines are fitted with a machine parameters control system with automatic block and rejection of the injected materials that do not fit specifications in order to guarantee a highly elevated standard of quality. Some of the presses are fit with a volumetric material mixer, others with gravimetric mixers with a magnetic field system to check and reject any contamination by metal particles. The presses are fit with controls for the extraction of risers (2 axes) and pieces (3 electrical axes). In addition, each press is equipped with one or two temperature regulation control panels for cooling and controlling the mold temperature. The material is dried using a system of molecular sifting drying hoppers and distributed to the presses through a centralized material distribution system. The injection department has a group of expert technicians for the optimization, sampling and research of the best injection parameters. The plastic injection department has quality personnel dedicated to controlling the injected products, as well as production engineering personnel for the research and optimization of the equipment used. It is equipped with a workshop with personnel in charge of the scheduled maintenance and cleaning of the molds at the end of each production batch, and mechanical/electrical maintenance personnel in charge of maintaining the efficiency of the presses and systems.
