Metal blanking department
MTAs metal blanking department is equipped with 16 presses of varying tonnage (from 25 to 200 tons), of which 7 are high speed BRUDERER. In this department, strips with thicknesses that vary from 0.15 mm to 2.5 mm are cut for the production of ring and power terminals, battery terminals, fuse blades and fusible links. The materials used during the cutting phase are copper, zinc, brass, bronze and copper and stainless steel alloys. Some articles are produced with modular molds to provide the greatest production flexibility at a high speed. Others, on the other hand, are fitted with special insertion systems for the processing of different terminals assembled together, which are then checked 100% on the line with a visual video camera system. At the end of processing, all of the molds are first washed with an automatic cleaning and drying system, then checked by specialized personnel to guarantee maximum efficiency at all times.
