MTA sustainability strategy is expressed both through its Code of Conduct and its Conflict Minerals Policy.
Asked and approved by MTA Top Management, the Code of Conduct states the rights, the duties and the responsibilities towards its employees, suppliers, customers, institutions and towards “community” in general, asking them to commit themselves to the respect and dissemination of these same ethical principles. The scope is to build the basis of an inclusive and shared company culture, promoting a working environment where people are the center of attention, always treated with respect and dignity.
The Conflict Minerals Policy, released by the company, is part of the overall issue of human rights. In this policy MTA commits itself to the responsible sourcing of materials containing minerals (tin, tungsten, tantalum, gold) that can be used, in areas of risk or in conflict areas, to finance armed groups, to fuel forced labor and other form of human rights abuses.  

Since many years ago MTA Direction has also defined and approved its Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Quality Policy which support and prove the targets and the commitments taken towards the employees, the customers, the market and the environment. This to make sure that all the Management System performances will be implemented, maintained and bettered, and the normative requirements, together with willful agreements signed between the company and the involved parts always guaranteed.

The manufacturing operation sites of MTA Group have been certified Quality and Environmental Management Systems compliant with international standards ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 since many years.
The IATF 16949 certification is a specific standard for the Automotive Industry Quality Management System that confirm the high steadly qualitative level achieved by our production sites.
The ISO 45001 standard is the reference for the implementation of Safety Management Systems.

With the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification, MTA can now benefit from preferential channels for the customs clearance of goods arriving from and leaving for foreign countries, a significant reduction in the number of physical and documentary controls by customs, as well as a priority treatment whenever controls are required.

MTA S.p.A. has been awarded a legality rating with a score of ★★++ by the AGCM (the Italian Competition and Market Authority). The legality rating is a synthetic indicator of a company’s compliance with high standards of legality and thorough attention paid to lawful business management. The purpose of the rating is to reward companies that comply with the law, are transparent and operate according to sound ethical principles, allowing access to specific advantages and benefits regarding reputation, granting of loans by Public Administrations and access to credit. 

The Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU (RED) establishes a regulatory framework for placing radio equipment on the market. It ensures a Single Market for radio equipment by setting essential requirements for safety and health, electromagnetic compatibility, and the efficient use of the radio spectrum.

The report considers the issues that determine the degree of corporate compliance with respect to the principles that MTA has focused on, in the values already identified in its Code of Conduct.
The main KPIs of the quality systems, environment and health & safety can thus be integrated with the information/data relevant to the "guidance on social responsibility".
