MTA and Lamborghini - New racing collaboration

Codogno(Lo), 7 April 2010.

The MTA racing division offers the motor racing market a broad range of systems based on powerful architecture that use “real-time” operating systems capable of handling a large bulk of information.

MTA's racing products include data/video/audio acquisition systems, telemetry systems, dashboards, GPS modules, sensors and optical finish line systems used for F1 cars, MotoGp bikes and minor competitions. MTA's expertise in designing racing products spans over more than two decades. This is why the Lamborghini racing division chose MTA as their technical sponsor for two major racing events: the Lamborghini SuperTrophy, a Pan-European monomarque championship for 4W drive cars – specifically, the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo - and the Italian GT Cup 2010 Championship, that the raging bull marque will contend with several award-winning competitors. MTA is to provide Lamborghini Corse with racing data acquisition systems optimized for their cars. The products were developed by the Concordia division, that specializes in high-tech electronic systems and include: Phoenix, a dashboard equipped with GPS, integrated accelerometers and data acquisition system; optical finish line system; Visus, a module incorporating audio and video signal acquisition to handle data from cameras connected to it; data wiring harnesses for several car sensors. Besides product development, the collaboration includes support at the pit line. At both events, highly skilled MTA engineers with proven expertise in racing will support the teams during race days, to ensure optimal use of product hardware and software. MTA and Lamborghini have forged a now long-standing partnership that has yielded a number of exclusive products over the years - first and foremost the futuristic Lamborghini Reventon dashboard. This new racing partnership is a natural step forward in the well-established relationship between MTA and the dream car maker.
