MTA is looking for a Plant Buyer for the plant based in Arujà.
The role will be responsible for:
• Critical analysis of commercial proposals and suppliers;
• Issuing purchase orders and requisitions for products/equipment/indirect services;
• Checking the NF of all production materials arriving at the company, for price, PO validity, quantity and general NF data;
• Research the supply market for products and services, by collecting prices, aiming to identify the best purchasing opportunities;
• Negotiate with suppliers, aiming to close purchases within the best conditions of price, quality and delivery time;
• Search for new suppliers of various products and services, aiming to develop alternative sources of supply;
• Research alternative products/processes, according to the possibilities of the production process, aiming to improve product quality and reduce production costs;
• Monitor the return process of goods delivered not in accordance with the order;
• Visit to suppliers for technical/economic evaluation with the quality and/or engineering departments;
• Management of intercompany import and export materials.
Main requirements:
• Higher education in administration or engineering preferred;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office pack;
• Knowledge of SAP (MM module);
• Good knowledge of the English language;
• Necessary minimum 3/5 years in the position (automotive preferred).
